Scholarships

The Continuing Education Center of the TU Vienna and the WU Executive Academy have set themselves the goal of supporting high potentials to meet their educational and career goals by offering various scholarships. For class 2010 - 2012 the following scholarships are available:

 

CEE-Scholarships

The Continuing Education Center of TU Wien and the WU Executive Academy offer merit-based CEE-Scholarships to citizens of Central and Eastern Europe. Only students who meet the eligibility criteria outlined below will be taken into consideration for a CEE-Scholarship that is limited to max. 50 % of the tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates are citizens of CEE countries*, have a first university degree and at least three years of management experience. Other criteria are the personal career track, motivation and financial need.

Application
The application materials may be obtained from the Program Management and are available for download here. Submission deadline is September 1, 2010.

Nomination Process
In September 2010 the Continuing Education Center and the WU Executive Academy convene a committee that will nominate the CEE-Scholarship candidates, who will be invited to a personal interview with the Academic Directors.

“FORMAT” Scholarship

We are happy to announce that the Austrian weekly journal “FORMAT”, the TU Wien Continuing Education Center and the WU Executive Academy are jointly granting a scholarship amounting to EUR 23,000 for the Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

Target group:
The program is primarily targeted towards those individuals who operate at the interface between technology and business, or who wish to do so in the future:

• Employees of companies or entrepreneurs who are innovation leaders
• Executives, who have positioned themselves as innovation leaders, or who wish to do so in the future
• (Potential) entrepreneurs with a technological background
• Engineers, scientists and specialists in product marketing or product controlling with managerial experience (e.g. as group or department head)
• High-potentials aiming at preparing themselves for an innovation-orientated managerial function

Please send your application to office@tu-wu-innovation.at until May 10, 2010. The scholarship is awarded by an independent jury on the basis of the applications submitted. The self-contribution is EUR 2,000. No legal recourse.
