    Final degree

    The academic degree "Master of Business Administration (MBA)" will be jointly awarded by the TU Wien and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.


    The program is FIBAA accredited.
    The WU Executive Academy is the first and only Austrian MBA provider to receive the internationally renowned AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation and, as part of the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business it is EQUIS accredited and holds the AACSB accreditation.

    Target group

    The MBA program is primarily targeted towards those individuals who operate at the interface between technology and business, or who wish to do so in the future. This particularly includes

    • (potential) executives, who have positioned themselves as innovation leaders
    • aspiring and current entrepreneurs with a technological background
    • engineers, scientists and specialists in product marketing or product controlling with managerial experience
    • high-potentials aiming at preparing themselves for an innovation orientated managerial function


    18 months plus master's thesis, part-time. The lectures will be held in blocked seminars of 3 to 6 days.




    Lectures will be held at locations in Vienna like the Museum of Young Art (MOYA) and TU Vienna. The first module includes an outdoor team building session that will take place in a hotel outside Vienna. A one-week field study to the Boston area, USA is also an integral part of the MBA program.

    Tuition fee

    EUR 30,000 (free of VAT) including all course materials and refreshments during breaks. Accommodation and travel expenses are not covered by the tuition fee.
